My Week in Review: April 7-13, 2013
This past week was filled with good food and lots of school.
One of my favorite things is having fresh flowers in my room. This week I was lucky enough to have a bouquet of pink roses.
I went to dinner with my family to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary at a local restaurant. It had a great old gentlemen's club feel to it. I ordered tornedos with gruyère cheese potatoes. It was so delicious, I'm still thinking about it! For dessert, I split a crème brûlée with my mom, which is kind of a tradition for us.
Later in the week, I got some take out from a restaurant I have really been fond of lately. It has a unique concept of a custom pizza assembly line- much like Chipotle or Subway. I always get mozzarella, chicken, basil, garlic, and artichokes on mine with gluten free crust, of course!
I spent a lot of time studying this week, and this is my desk area. I just love to have a Starbucks drink to help me focus and ease the pain of my schoolwork. This is a Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. I love the color and it's the perfect amount of sweetness!
This Chicken Pad Thai I recently tried is so delicious- I will probably make a habit of stopping by for take out after class!
I also caught up with one of my best blogger and real life friends, Alexa Losey of smokeypinkleopard. I just love hanging out with her and we stopped for Native Foods and went shopping! I think the Oklahoma "Burger" with quinoa instead of a bun is my favorite food of all. I also love mixing their lavender lemonade with their watermelon agua fresca to make the perfect drink!
This post contained a lot more food than I had anticipated, but I thought it would be fun to share my week with you in pictures once in a while. I hope you're all doing well!
