This weekend I went on a short "staycation" to the Beverly Wilshire. I have wanted to stay at this hotel for years so I finally decided to go for a quick get away! The Beverly Wilshire is a Four Seasons property nestled among the high-end boutiques of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

When I pulled up to the hotel I was welcomed with the incredible hospitality that the Four Seasons brand is known for. Once I went inside and checked in, I went up to my room. The room was spacious and airy with a gorgeous bathroom to match. The Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries are a wonderful, luxurious touch as well. It also had a view of Los Angeles that was absolutely breathtaking!

I have always had a fondness for historic hotels. This property was opened in 1928, and while it has modernized, its historic charm is still intact.
After I freshened up, I headed out to the pool bar to enjoy a gin a tonic. It was a breezy day, but the pool is situated between buildings so the other guests and I were shielded from any wind or sound from the road. Sitting in the sun and sipping my cocktail was a divine way to unwind and begin my stay.

After I arrived back from dinner and a bit of shopping, I decided to head to the bar in the hotel lobby where I enjoyed a "Westside Ramble"- a gin cocktail with muddled raspberry, lemon, and cane sugar. It was delicious and the spicy potato chips served at the bar were deliciously addicting!
It is a well-known fact amongst my friends that one of my favorite things in life is room service, so of course the next morning I partook in in-room dining. I had a delicious omelet made to order with ham, spinach, tomato, and cheddar and a cappuccino.
I had a wonderful time at the Beverly Wilshire and I will certainly go back, in fact, I would go back today if I could.
